Well yet another week has flown by. I really must thank everyone who entered last week's challenge - what a beautiful selection of Oriental tags, every one of them different but every one stunning. It is my (blackdragon) turn to pick the challenge this week, and we are still being inspired by film titles.... if you thought....'She'll pick something gothic horror-ish.....' NO! ......I chose 'The da vinci code'..... so please take inspiration from... (in my humble opinion) the greatest artist who ever lived.... LEONARDO da VINCI. I couldn't help myself.... .So there we are for yet another week... rolling on to Christmas.... and with that in mind and the imminent arrival of my mum, we are having two weeks for this theme. We will be back with a science fiction/fantasy theme from me which will be gothic/Victorian/steampunk. Then there will be a total break until mid January to give us all a rest and time to enjoy the season - the team is struggling as well as myself, just now, so this break will do everyone a lot of good... Hi, The Dragon here...Well, you really pushed the boat out last week and showed us some great steampunk/Victorian/toys stuff, thanks very much. We really enjoyed seeing it all. As we had a reasonable response, I will find a little something for one lucky winner... but we need a bigger turnout for a really good prize... Another week has come and gone in this year of lightening fast days!!! I admit I just can't keep up, and here we are towards the end of August!!! Well, you all came up with some great ideas last week!

This week, I would like you to use embossing - any kind of embossing you like, heat, dry, metal, with texture fades, it's your choice! Just remember to use at least one real stamp.

I have used what is fast becoming my favourite stamp of the moment - Tim's Papillon with white embossing. Yummy! The tag is broken china distress stain and the butterflies are die cut from metal and Clearly for Art.

Thank you all who joined us last week it is great to see so many people joining us and sharing such great dream tags with us. We are all so excited about how we are starting to grow again, so long may you share with us. This week it is my (Zoe) turn to lead the dream, so I hope you will like this one.

Virtually all my life I've lived near the coast, the sea is part of my landscape. On its good calm days its a fun playground. Other times it is exciting, thrilling and a little frightening what ever sort of day it is, the sea is never the same. What else could the dream be this week if not 'beside the sea'. Your dream can take any tag form that appeals to you, as we love it all, so long as you use a rubber or clear stamp on your tag, and most importantly, enjoy yourself.

My dream was inspired by a charm of a Dragonfly I bought from IndigoBlu, at Port Sunlight a few weeks ago. I used glossy accents then carefully added copper thunder gilding flakes to his wings, and also to attach gem's to his body. Hello, Janet here. How lovely to be able to host this week's TIO challenge again! My theme is Fish... Plenty of inspiration out there.

Where I live, between the mighty River Spey and the River Deveron in the north east of Scotland, fishing is a big deal. None more important than salmon and trout fishing. Men (and some women) spend hours up to their waists in the icy water trying to catch these mighty fish.

Do come and join us this week, we would love to see your creative talents put to use on this fishy theme. So dream away, but please remember to use at least one real stamp in your creation...

TIO #79 - All the Write Postage

Good Morning, Zoe here. It is Wednesday again, don't they come round quickly! We, the new DreamTeam are so pleased that you are enjoying the challenges so frustrating with the Blogger problems last week it seems our new Linky tool had a problem, sure it will all be OK this week, hope so it's great fun for us dreaming up the challenges to inspire your dreams and creativity and then seeing your takes on it all.

So this week it is my turn to dream, and the challenge is to make All the Write Postage... It is the now dim and distant days when the lady at the post office stamped your post when you took it in..... remember that "bang bang" as she thumped the stamp down, no delicate inking and placing for her LOL!! Of course before you had anything to put in the post you had to write it with a pen or pencil (or crayon!). If you sent a postcard or unsealed envelope the cost was less than sealed letters and there were two deliveries a day... best yet no junk mail!

Well why not post a tag?? It has two sides, one to decorate and one to put the address on, so with all that in mind this week's dream is to Write it and then Post it. Sweet Dreams - oh, and please don't forget to use at least one real stamp.

TIO #78 - Texturise It

Hello there, Wanda here... well can you believe this is now week 3 with the new design team on board. Your entries last week were fabulous, so this week's theme is "Texturise It".

We want you to dream texture with us in whatever way you wish. There are so many in which you can add texture to your tags. In the main I have used dry embossing, using my trusty cuttlebug and an embossing folder, and texture paste. I hope my offerings and those of my fellow design team members will inspire you enough to join in with us this week. And don't forget to use at least one real stamp...

Now, not that I am indecisive or anything, but I ended up creating two tags and couldn't decide which to post so here are both. Can you see a repetitive theme emerging with my tags? Not that I am fond of birds or anything!

TIO #77 - Colour my World

Hello, it is Helen here hosting this week's theme - I have chosen a colour theme. Before I tell you what that is, we just want to say thank you for stopping by last week and to those of you who took up the dream!

So, without further ado, I challenge you to use purple - and you are allowed one accent colour of your choice. Oh, and please remember to use at least one real stamp.

It took me some time to finally decide on my colour - I have so many favourite colours - but I knew the stamp I wanted to use for it - it is fast becoming a favourite of mine! Purple is historically associated with royalty and so, in the week of the Royal Wedding, (well it was when I was preparing my sample!) it seemed appropriate.

I have used Tim Holtz's Papillon background stamp and his butterfly dies (newly purchased, specially!!) that I die cut with Wendy Vecchi's Clearly for Art film (also specially bought, though it's been a must have for a while, this just spurred me on!) You can see more details of how I created this on my own blog, as you can with the rest of the DreamTeam...

TIO #76 - Something with a Pocket!!!

Firstly thank you so much for dreaming with us last week, and sharing your beautiful works of art, and also for making Frankie's new design team welcome.You will notice that the lovely Janet has joined us this week, back from her travels...thank you so much from us all x

This week Frankie is having a rest and taking it easy after having treatment to her hands, we all wish you a speedy recovery, and are sure that the gorgeous Fred is looking after you well.

So this week you have me to start you dreaming, on the subject of "Something with a Pocket"!! Well after all of this beautiful weather, and walking along the prom every day, it made me dream about being a little girl at the seaside. I always had pockets full of shells, seaglass, driftwood and anything else I could find! I was, and still am, a real little beach comber, or kleptomaniac as my friends would say LOL!!

My tag has been inked up in a mixture of tumbled glass and stormy sky distress inks. The seaside stamps are from Crafty Individuals and were again stamped out with stormy sky distress ink. I wasn't happy with the text, as it wasn't dark enough so I traced over with a fineliner pen. My little pocket is my new addiction, needle felting.............. love it! I used a blended Merino wool on a Merino Pre Felt, added a couple of bit's of Sari ribbon and some fish charms to finish. I hope my dream has inspired you, and can't wait to see what you dream up this week. Don't forget please use at least one real stamp. Love Elizabeth x
