TIO #110 - Bird Song

What a great challenge last time and what lovely dreams we had, thank you all. This time, it is the wonderful Wanda's turn to choose the subject matter, and her book is called "Bird Song" - set in WW1... Unfortunately, Wanda is very out of sorts at the moment and unable to do much crafting at all, so we dedicate this fortnight's challenge to her and hope she is soon back with us!!

TIO #109 - The Time Traveler's Wife

Hi, Helen here with the book choice "the Time Traveler's Wife" and the theme is Time.

As I explain on my blog, I read this book when it came out a few years ago and LOVED it. I broke the habit of a lifetime and saw the film at the weekend when it was televised - and for a change, I think they did it quite well!

TIO #108 - The Beach - EXTENDED 1 WEEK

Welcome back to the DragonsDream Challenge where we have had a short rest to re-charge the creative batteries. This week it's my turn to start the dream, where else, but "The Beach". Besides being the book I'm reading at the moment, I so need a holiday, and sitting under a palm tree with a pile of books would be bliss!! Well here we are again and at last!!! I have had no internet access for a while and then was called from home this morning and was away far longer than I thought!!!! So sorry everyone. I am cross we went "live" not being ready, and it's entirely my fault... my wonderful team was all ready, and on time... great work as always, ladies!!! My tag is not finished yet as I have had a few bad days with mum, but it will be added as soon as it's done!!

Recommencing Our TIO Challenge

Hello everyone and a Happy New Year to all... Hope this year brings us all we hope for and need... I have had a good break and a fabulous holiday in Gran Canaria with the fragrant Freddie and the family... They are a great bunch and always make me so welcome... I have NEVER had such a large family in my life!! Tee hee...

Anyway, my fab DreamTeam has been champing at the bit to get back into production, so next week, 25th January, we shall get underweigh with a fantastic theme from our lovely Elizabeth... I think she is getting all summery with a beachy idea!! We are doing book titles this time round, and they have some SUPER DUPER ones planned for you!!!

TIO #106 - The Da Vinci Code - Homage to the Great Man

Well yet another week has flown by. I really must thank everyone who entered last week's challenge - what a beautiful selection of Oriental tags, every one of them different but every one stunning. It is my (blackdragon) turn to pick the challenge this week, and we are still being inspired by film titles.... if you thought....'She'll pick something gothic horror-ish.....' NO! ......I chose 'The da vinci code'..... so please take inspiration from... (in my humble opinion) the greatest artist who ever lived.... LEONARDO da VINCI. I couldn't help myself.... I made two tags instead of one.... I hope you'll be as inspired by da Vinci as I am...

I did not get any time to have a go at my beloved oriental theme last week... just too many things tto be done to be prepared for mum. I have not forgotten about my promise to do a giveaway, so tada!!! the winner of my random draw for the Steampunk theme from Wanda a couple of weeks ago is

.So there we are for yet another week... rolling on to Christmas.... and with that in mind and the imminent arrival of my mum, we are having two weeks for this theme. We will be back with a science fiction/fantasy theme from me which will be gothic/Victorian/steampunk. Then there will be a total break until mid January to give us all a rest and time to enjoy the season - the team is struggling as well as myself, just now, so this break will do everyone a lot of good... We WILL be back, so keep watching after Christmas!!! Meanwhile, some Da Vinci please, and most of all, ENJOY!!!

TIO #105 - Chinatown (Asian theme)

Time is flying and it's Wednesday again. It's me, Silvia, this week and we're going on with our wonderful round of film titles. Lots of great Romance entries last week - thanks to all participants.

Hope you are enjoying these creations as much as I am. My DreamTeam is just so wonderfully creative and so supportive. I shall be late again this week, as family birthdays are full on just now and my usually slow crafting is at snail pace at the moment!!! I shall be back very soon, but can't twiddle anymore today, as I am off to Yorkshire to sort out the dreadful situation surrounding my poor old mum...
